Membership Benefits

As a KLA member, you will join a collegial community of scholars of Korean literature and culture. KLA provides a forum for presenting and discussing new archival materials and methodological approaches to the advancement of our academic community. And it also facilitates the professionalization and networking of scholars at all levels.

Through the KLA website, members can

• access the panelists’ abstracts and bioparagraphs of the current year’s annual meeting
• attend livestreamed meetings from a remote location
• find archives of past annual meetings
• share syllabi and other teaching resources
• be updated with a comprehensive list of fellowships and grants
• be informed of major relevant professional societies

We invite you to join our international community of scholars by becoming a member of the Korean Literature Association. 

Join the KLA

Thank you for your interest in joining the KLA. We are a non-profit organization for academics. We kindly ask our members and future members to support the organization with annual membership fees. The KLA currently offers four levels of membership:

Graduate Students: $20

Postgraduate and Retired Scholars: $30

Assistant Professors: $50

Professors and Associate Professors: $100
